AeroVironment will be supplying the Local Battery Charging Stations
These Charging Stations are
slightly smaller than a Car Wash Drive-Through and will be available in
most modern Auto Gas and Service Stations. As a Drive-through, your discharged
Battery Pack can be swapped out for a fully charged Battery Pack in
less than two minutes by a fully automated process that is less
complicated than a Car Wash System. The Charging Station will have a
minmium of twenty Battery Packs on Full Charge at any one time. The
Charging Cycle will be about twenty to thirty minutes which is enough
time to service 20 to 30 Electric Vehicles in the same amount of time.
By the time the last Battery Pack dropped off is finished charging, it
becomes the next Battery Pack to be installed 30 cars down the line, thirty
minutes later. These Battery Charging Stations will cost
approximately $50,000 on a leasing program available to any gasoline or

Conclusions: Why is this so Important Anyway ?!
When Henry Ford was starting the first production line for
automobiles, (truly a history changing event), he fought ‘tooth-n-nail’ to use
natural Ethanol as the standard fuel base for cars because he knew that oil-based,
fossil fuels had a limited capacity, created lots of pollution, and that a
Nature-Based Ethanol fuel source would be renewable for the life-span of
Humanity.
His financiers denied his funding until he capitulated to
the use of Kerosene, because his financiers at the time were ‘loosing their
shorts’ on Lamp Lighting Oil, mostly because Edison’s “Safety Light Bulbs” were
replacing all the Oil Lamps on all the major city streets at the time.
Here we are, a mere hundred years later, facing Peak
Oil with extreme levels of air pollution and a Global Warming Epidemic that
threatens planetary extinction, and we are still debating the issues of
returning to the use of Electric Cars and Bio-Fuels. Seriously, How Silly can We be?!
There are many arguments both for and against Global Warming.
But, I dare anyone to deny the existence of Smog; --to argue that the
air is still fresh in Hong Kong, or New York, or, Los Angeles. Forget
about Global Warming for the time being and focus on something simple,
tangible, and easy to understand.
The presence of Metropolitan Smog happens Worldwide and is a direct
effect of Oil-Burning Cars, Trucks, Buses, and Coal Burning Power
Plants, -plain and simple, -no arguments necessary.
Unfortunately, this
Metropolitan Smog has lasting health effects and is cumulating in
larger quantities every year. If you could see it last year, and you
can still see it this year, it will most likely be much worse next
year. That's all the the tough Science anyone needs to know. --It's as
simple as that.
And it is as simple as this: If you and anyone you know want City Smog
to diminish; You, and everyone you know had better start doing
something, anything, about it now!
Electric Cars and Electric Mass Transit Systems are the very first and
the easiest places to start. Just buy an Electric Car. Demand Electric
Cars from your Car Dealerships. Invest in any company making Electric
Car Parts. Put a Solar Charging System on your roof, or in your back
yard. It's that simple!
